2021 life hack: Our tips on how to get 48 days off with only taking 18 days annual leave!

Calling all Monday - Friday Pirates, we love a good #lifehack. Especially when it can help you almost triple your days off next year! The way the bank holidays lie in 2021 means that you only need to take 18 annual leave days to achieve 48 days off!

Whether it's to spend more quality family time together, or just to give yourself the max time away from Sue in accounts, follow our handy tips below to get the most out of 2021 - because, let's admit it, we all need it!

Please note all the dates listed are for those who work full time Monday - Friday, as days off include weekends, and are given Bank Holidays off as part of their annual leave agreement.

Christmas and New Year 2020/2021:

If you book December 29th, 30th and 31st, you'll have 10 days off in total. (3 taken, 10 received)

Easter 2021:

When it comes to Easter, bagsy April 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th off for another 10 days away from the office! (7, 20)

May Day 2021:

We can guarantee that if you ask the boss for May 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th, you'll enjoy another 9 days off... unfortunately, we cannot ensure it'll be BBQ weather... (11, 29)

August Bank Holiday 2021:

Extend your summer without chipping away at that annual leave too much, take August 31st, September 1st, 2nd and 3rd off for another 9 days! (15, 38)

Christmas and New Year 2021/2022:

Get into the festive spirit early, get ahead of your colleagues and get December 29th, 30th & 31st in the annual leave diary to enjoy a ten day break. (18, 48)
